Brave Frog was founded in 2006 by Robert Groom, a freelance photographer and photographic educator based in the Macedon Ranges region of Victoria, Australia.

Robert is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and a life member of The Melbourne Camera Club, where he has been the leading teacher and coordinator of the acclaimed ‘Introduction to Photography’ course since 1995.

Robert has more than twenty years’ experience in both photography and information technology. His teaching ability and extensive technical knowledge are highly regarded in both fields.
